The demand for indoor wireless coverage has never been greater and continues to grow as businesses, consumers and even machines increasingly depend on both voice and data connectivity day in and day out. Venues wanting to reduce turnover and increase the value of their property understand that it is imperative to meet the communications needs of their occupants and deploying wireless infrastructure inside their buildings is a smart investment to accomplish that objective.
The decision to invest in in-building wireless infrastructure spawns a series of questions that the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) answers in a series of training initiatives through its Telecommunications Education Center (TEC). The training gives executives and decision makers an unmatched opportunity to learn how the ecosystem works so they can acquire the necessary resources to plan a successful deployment. Project managers can learn the specific milestones and challenges associated with installing a new building-wide utility, and technologists can learn how to address the unique circumstances of each venue class and size.
Join us for a 30-minute informative webinars Nov. 13, Nov. 27 and Dec. 11 to learn more about how WIA’s Telecommunications Education Center is addressing the challenges faced by those responsible for the deployment of in-building wireless solutions through its newly released In-building Solutions and Technology training program. During the session, TEC instructor Phil Ziegler, will share information about how this exclusive program provides a solid foundation for those needing to understand the business, project management, and technical aspects of wireless in-building solution creation. Subsequently, attendees can make inquiries about certification program details or recommendations for topics to be included.
With 35 years in wireless communications, Mr. Ziegler specializes in in-building wireless challenges and has dedicated the past 18 years to honing his in-building expertise and sharing it with venue owners, third-party operators, DAS OEMs, and wireless service providers. He brings this expertise to WIA’s Telecommunications Education Center as a course developer and instructor for the In-building Certification Program.
