WIA and TEC are pleased to announce the addition of a new In-building Solution and Technology Program developed by Phil Ziegler, founder of the CIBET initiative.
As the demand for reliable in-building wireless continues to grow, so does the need for understanding the in-building environment, solutions and available technologies, and how to manage the shared infrastructure model. |
Please join the Telecommunications Education Center as we launch a complimentary three-day pilot event, showcasing our new offerings!
Join us for one, two, or all three days, but reserve early – seating is limited. August 7, 8, and 9 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at St. Paul Plaza 200 Saint Paul Place Baltimore, MD 21202 |
Tuesday, August 7th
TEC is kicking off the program with an overview of our DAS & Small Cell general audience track. This material will cover in-building wireless initiatives, how in-building solutions are expected to deliver communications capabilities to indoor subscribers, an introduction to the history and future of the in-building solution space, and an overview of RF sources and distribution. |
Wednesday, August 8th
Training will be tailored towards project managers and personnel. Designed for the wireless industry, this in-building project management track will review the roles, responsibilities, and project milestones essential to a successful wireless deployment. |
Thursday, August 9th
The final day of training will feature advanced technical topics that facilitate an understanding of the theoretical basis for RF in-building planning concepts, RF building block devices, and DAS subsystem engineering practices.
