WIA’s Adelstein Discusses 5G Skills Gap Solutions With Rep. Yvette Clarke

U.S. Member of Congress and Vice Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce Rep. Yvette Clarke (NY-09) joined WIA’s Jonathan Adelstein and Inside Towers’ Jim Fryer on the most recent episode of The Wireless Water Cooler. She discussed paths for training the workforce to meet the demands of 5G, including the engagement of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

WIA Congratulates New FCC Commissioner

WIA congratulated Nathan Simington on his confirmation as a new Federal Communications Commissioner (FCC). We look forward to working with him on promoting 5G deployment, making more spectrum available, and developing a workforce that is sufficiently trained to meet the demand for 5G services.

WIA Launches The Network Edge

Introducing WIA’s weekly newsletter, The Network Edge – Your Wireless Connection! This newsletter is designed to inform the entire wireless infrastructure ecosystem about industry news, thought leadership, and other happenings through a variety of articles, blogs and other content. The weekly update is distributed every Thursday to an audience of more than 5,000 industry leaders. WIA Offers New CBRS Certified Professional Installer Certification

WIA’s newest TEC course – CBRS Certified Professional Installer (CPI) Certification – is now available, which provides training for jobs in the rapidly developing CBRS market. This self-paced, knowledge-based training will quickly put your employees on the path to becoming CPIs for CBRS-based systems. Powered by Federated Wireless, the online course has been carefully designed, based on the guidelines and standards approved by the Wireless Innovation Forum (WInnForum).
