Launching May 19, this free virtual conference will bring you the latest thinking from top industry leaders – along with opportunities for networking and business development all from wherever you’re working. The Exhibit Hall opens and breakouts begin at 9 am.

TEC Launches New Website and Expands Virtual Course Offerings
TEC has launched its new website so you can find all the courses you need faster. Look out for TEC’s newest eLearning course, 5G Ecosystem, available this month. This course will deliver information on 5G technology, what to expect, and the impact on businesses and consumers. In the meantime, join TEC for other eLearning courses from your home, remote office, or anywhere.

WIA Supports Municipality-Industry Collaboration Tools for Continuing Wireless Infrastructure Permitting
WIA supported the publication of a new resource for facilitating the processing of telecommunications permits during the COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with organizations representing municipal governments and industry partners.

WIA Members Respond to Pandemic with Compassion, Creativity and Connectivity
When the COVID-19 crisis emerged earlier this year, the wireless infrastructure industry had an immediate positive impact by providing the connectivity people needed to continue to work, learn, and stay in touch with family and friends. Since then, several WIA members have found other ways to make an impact in their communities, from providing personal protection equipment to health care workers to feeding and caring for vulnerable members of their communities.

Important Update on Frequency Coordination Services
WIA will soon transition to a new frequency coordination system. The new solution leverages technology based on the latest standards for security and performance. It will also provide a more user-friendly interface for clients to enter applications. No action is required at this time. Stay tuned for updates. |
