Workforce Bill Introduced Working with WIA, two members of Congress introduced an important bill aimed at building a 5G-ready workforce. Called the TOWER Infrastructure Deployment Act and sponsored by Reps. Tim Walberg (R-MI) and Yvette Clarke (D-NY), the bill creates an advisory council at the FCC to examine the needs of the telecommunications industry as it transitions to 5G. It requires that a representative from TIRAP be included on the council.
