Membership

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) represents the businesses that build, develop, own, and operate the nation’s wireless infrastructure. WIA advocates for the widespread, responsible deployment of wireless infrastructure to enable connectivity everywhere.

For more than 75 years, WIA has been the principle association helping to build the industries that comprise the wireless telecommunications sector. Today, WIA is the only association that dedicates itself to supporting the unique business needs of the wireless infrastructure industry. We represent the carriers, infrastructure providers and professional services firms that own and manage nearly 655,000 structures in the U.S. dedicated to wireless connectivity.

WIA provides industry leadership by giving our members the expertise to address pressing regulatory, marketplace and technology issues that have the highest impact on their businesses. We work together with our members to ensure that communities are able to meet critical wireless communications needs without compromising safety, or environmental and aesthetic priorities.
