Emily serves as the Operations Manager of the Telecommunications Education Center [TEC]. TEC is a dynamic learning program devoted to improving education, quality of work, and safety within the telecommunications industry. Emily works closely with the TEC team of industry experts to identify, develop, and host critical training for the industry. She ensures the training program and WIA’s workforce development initiatives are represented at industry events. Current initiatives include the development and expansion of eLearning curricula to increase educational access through TEC’s unique blended learning environments – classroom, field, and virtual.
Previously, Emily worked for the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) as a Research and Development Associate where she was responsible for managing donor data and tracking individual donations and foundation revenue as part of core campaign efforts.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University in Justice Studies and Spanish. She graduated with honors from George Mason University with a Master of Public Administration degree.
In her free time, Emily enjoys long distance running, traveling, and is always up for any outdoor adventure!
