Women’s History Month In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, WIA is highlighting some outstanding women who are actively contributing to the wireless industry through their professional careers. Women have made tremendous contributions to the telecommunications industry throughout its history and continue to do so today. WIA is committed to supporting and promoting their involvement in the industry through the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum, a volunteer association where members share their expertise, broaden their contacts, and advance their career opportunities.
