Patients use telemedicine to conveniently and remotely communicate with their doctor. We know that people rely on their phone for their day-to-day activities from getting directions, to ordering rideshares, and of course their employment as it’s like walking around with a mini-computer. American Tower – Steven Vondran, American Tower’s CEO, said the company’s initial expectations for accelerating activity over the course of the year were validated, highlighted by mid-band deployments in the U.S. and Europe, 4G densification and early 5G upgrades in emerging markets, and another exceptional year of leasing at CoreSite. SBA – SBA President and CEO Brendan Cavanagh said the company had a solid finish to 2024, producing favorable results both financially and operationally. Carrier activity levels in the US continued to grow and SBA finished 2024 with its highest backlogs of the year for both leasing and services. Read More

Inside Towers – The New Mexico State Senate Tax, Business and Transportation Committee passed a proposal to allow state agencies to have wireless towers on their properties. The move would also directly provide sustainable 5G cellular service to nearby constituents. Read More

Radio Iowa – Companies that provide telecommunication and wireless services are asking legislators to update Iowa law to ensure those who sabotage infrastructure like cell phone towers or buried cables can be charged with a felony. Read More
