And with it, an obligation to auction at least 800 MHz of spectrum within eight years, with a minimum of 100 MHz (but likely more) of Upper C-band spectrum auctioned by July 4, 2027. Array – Array Digital Infrastructure and Telephone and Data Systems announced Anthony Carlson will become the President and CEO of Array and join the Array board of directors. He will be responsible for overseeing operations and strategic initiatives related to the portfolio of 4,400 owned towers. Read More

Data Center Dynamics – American Tower is planning to develop an Edge data center in Indianapolis next to one of its cell towers in the north of the city. The company aims to develop a 20,000 sq ft single-story building on seven acres of the 53-acre property. The facility would not require any additional electrical infrastructure. Read More

Broadband Breakfast – Adam Cassady, principal deputy assistant secretary of NTIA, said the agency plans to showcase emerging 6G technologies during the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, an initiative dubbed Mission LA 2028 that will serve as a live demonstration of AI-powered networking and advanced connectivity applications.
