In essence, it’s a sweeping mandate to open up hundreds of megahertz of mid-band spectrum between 1.3 GHz and 10.5 GHz for mobile broadband services. Inside Towers – EchoStar will end new cell site expansion for Boost Mobile’s 5G Open RAN cloud-based network and instead will share AT&T’s radio access network but use its own cloud-native Core, hosted by AWS, to handle Boost Mobile subscriber traffic. Read More
