WIA Statement on FCC’s AWS-3 Auction

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) released the following statement on the conclusion of the FCC’s AWS-3 auction. The statement can be attributed to Patrick Halley, President and CEO, WIA:

“The conclusion of the FCC’s first auction in four years marks a major step in the Administration’s plan to deliver a robust pipeline of commercial licensed spectrum to power America’s wireless networks and expand mobile and fixed connectivity to more households nationwide. We thank Chairman Carr for his leadership and look forward to working with the Commission to build on this momentum by advancing the remainder of the 800 MHz pipeline, including the Upper C-Band auction in the near term.”
