Emerging Wireless Professionals

The Emerging Wireless Professionals (EWP) is a membership section of WIA, focusing on professionals who have been in broadband for fewer than 10 years.

Attracting and supporting new professionals across a wide array of occupations in the
telecommunications industry is crucial to the long-term success and health of the industry. To ensure
emerging professionals are given a full opportunity to have their voices represented, grow and thrive, it
is critical that they have a professional development platform to convene, learn, and share ideas with
one another and with industry leaders.

Recognizing that, EWP:

• Establishes a network of professionals new to the telecom field committed to supporting
  leadership, education and national networking experiences.
• Identifies educational and developmental opportunities for emerging professionals.
• Strengthens bonds and communication in the community by sharing industry knowledge and
  expertise.
• Covenes its members on a regular basis, including annually at Connect (X) and other industry
  events for in-person networking opportunities.
