Adelstein Testifies at MOBILE NOW Hearing

Last week, WIA President and CEO Jonathan Adelstein provided expert testimony on Capitol Hill on how an key piece of legislation called the MOBILE NOW Act is helping the U.S. maintain leadership in wireless by enabling spectrum allocation and streamlining the processes for siting of wireless infrastructure on federal lands to facilitate broadband deployment. He also highlighted the need for a properly trained 5G workforce. The testimony took place during the Senate Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation, and the Internet’s hearing.
