Aero Wireless Group Welcomes Edward Bieging Vice President of Utility Relations

BOULDER, Colo. (PRWEB) June 24, 2020

Aero Wireless Group, a leader in innovative wireless infrastructure solutions, names utility industry veteran Edward Bieging to Vice President of Utility Relations. Bieging will be responsible for leading the company’s national expansion to support utility providers and municipalities in their small cell initiatives and deployments.

Ed Bieging

“Ed is an outstanding addition to our Aero Wireless Group team as he brings deep utility industry experience and knows what it takes to deliver client success,” said Jim Lockwood, CEO of Aero Wireless Group. “As Aero continues our rapid growth to support wireless operators, utility providers and municipal leaders, Ed’s leadership in managing small cell permitting and dual-use streetlight programs will accelerate Aero’s ability to support customers.”

Bieging joins Aero Wireless Group from Xcel Energy, where he most recently managed the company’s small cell dual-use streetlight program allowing wireless operators to collocate on one of Xcel Energy’s 187,000 street lights. He led internal teams to develop an approval, design and construction process to allow carriers to quickly deploy small cell sites with minimal disruption in the rights-of-way.

Throughout his 36-year career at Xcel Energy, Bieging has held leadership positions in customer service, outdoor lighting and assisted in the coordination of Xcel Energy LED street light change-out programs. Bieging’s tenure at Xcel Energy exposed him to many different aspects of the inner workings of utility providerssuch as construction, design, customer service teams, government relations, and business development.

“I am honored to join the Aero Wireless Group team and build on the solid foundation developed with utility clients. Aero is perfectly positioned to help clients navigate the small cell infrastructure ecosystem and transform their businesses for a better customer experience and to compete in the 5G marketplace,” stated Edward Bieging, VP of Utility Relations, Aero Wireless Group.
