Aug 26, 2020 WIA Members Build and Maintain the Nation’s Wireless Infrastructure Safely During Pandemic When the COVID-19 pandemic hit nearly six months ago, the wireless infrastructure industry quickly found itself among the ranks of essential workers needed to keep the country connected during stay-at-home orders. The importance of connectivity has only increased during the intervening months as disruptions to education and business have continued and new realities around remote learning and work from home present themselves. Widespread, quality broadband wireless coverage has never been more important. WIA is proud of all of our member companies who have continued thet work of building and maintaining the nation’s wireless networks so we can all stay connected when we can’t be together. We asked our members to submit photos of their team members working while wearing masks to demonstrate the important work the wireless infrastructure industry is doing every day, and doing it safely, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. View all of the submissions on social media using the hashtag #MembersWithMasks, or browse below! Thanks to @KGPCo and its dedicated team members for keeping us all safe by wearing masks (and performing the occasional snake removal) while making sure we all stay connected! #MembersWithMasks #5G pic.twitter.com/hS4nAovJ62 — WIA (@WIAorg) September 22, 2020 Engineers from @VCOMMLLC are testing wireless service above ground, below ground and driving all around, all while wearing masks of course!
