Cuddy & Feder Names Christopher B. Fisher Managing Partner

White Plains, NY – April 26, 2017 – Cuddy & Feder LLP announced the appointment of Christopher B. Fisher as its new Managing Partner, effective April 6, 2017. Mr. Fisher was elected to the position by unanimous vote and succeeds Joshua E. Kimerling, who served in the role from 2014-2017.

Mr. Fisher joined Cuddy & Feder in 1994 and was named a Partner in 1999. During his tenure at Cuddy & Feder, he has held various positions of leadership within the firm. He is currently Chairman of the Firm’s Telecommunications Group, a practice he founded and will continue to head up, and is former Chairman of the Firm’s Land Use, Zoning & Development Group, two of the largest infrastructure practices in New York and Connecticut. Mr. Fisher also served as a member of the Firm’s Management Committee from 2003-2013.

Over the years, Mr. Fisher has demonstrated, through his professional and personal endeavors, his commitment to the growth and development of Westchester County. In October 2016, as Chair of Broadband Technology for the Westchester County Association, Mr. Fisher helped launch the WCA’s Smart Growth Compact with the county’s four major cities – Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, White Plains and Yonkers – to bring gigabit technology to the region. The mayors of the four cities hailed it as the most significant and ambitious undertaking in more than a generation to secure the region’s economic future. Mr. Fisher was instrumental in bringing the cities together and helping move the WCA plan forward.

Mr. Fisher is also president and a founding board member of the New York State Wireless Association, which brings together wireless telecommunications professionals, government officials and the public to create a platform for a unified voice among the wireless industry.

“I can think of no one better than Chris, who I’ve worked with since we were associates together, to lead the firm as it continues to serve the growing needs of the community while looking towards its future,” said Mr. Kimerling.

“When I started my career with Cuddy & Feder over 20 years ago, I never imagined I would have the privilege of one day leading this special institution,” said Mr. Fisher. “Cuddy & Feder continues to prove that we are a firm that stays true to our core values of Respect + Support for others, Excellence + Service to our clients, and Community + Commitment beyond the practice of law that began with our founding partners, Bill Cuddy and Bob Feder over 45 years ago. I am honored to continue their tradition of client service.”

Mr. Fisher graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received his law degree from Pace University School of Law. He currently serves on the Pace Law School Board of Visitors.
