ARLINGTON, Va. – The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) is pleased to announce David Weisman, President and Chief Executive Officer, InSite Wireless Group, LLC, was elected to serve as Chairman of the WIA’s Board of Directors. A new slate of officers was also elected.
The new Chairman and officers include:
Chairman: David E. Weisman, President and Chief Executive Officer, InSite Wireless Group, LLC
Vice Chairman: Jeffrey A. Stoops; President and Chief Executive Officer; SBA Communications Corporation
Secretary: Jay A. Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer, Crown Castle International
Treasurer: Alex Gellman, Chief Executive Officer, Vertical Bridge Holdings
Prior to co-founding InSite Wireless Group, LLC, Weisman served as President and CEO of Mountain Union Telecom, LLC from 1999 until its sale in 2006. He has served on the WIA Board for 15 years.
