Jonathan Adelstein Joins Industry Leaders at Wireless Connect

College Park, MD – July 21, 2016 –Jonathan Adelstein, President and CEO of the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA), will deliver a Keynote Address at the inaugural Wireless Connect Conference scheduled to take place Aug. 10-11, 2016, on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature expert keynotes, dynamic panel discussions, and technical workshops that will explore the incredible impact that next-generation wireless technologies will have on every aspect of our lives.

“We wanted to bring together the best and brightest from all parts of the wireless industry to create a real collaborative environment for professionals and entrepreneurs to work together and share the ideas that will drive mobile communications for years to come,,” said Dr. Rikin Thakker, Founder and CEO of RF Academics and Chief Organizer of Wireless Connect. “All members of the wireless ecosystem will need to work together with a high degree of coordination in order for the mobile networks to keep pace with the ongoing demand for increased wireless capacity.”

Adelstein, who served on the Federal Communications Commission from 2002 to 2009, will discuss what he calls the “wireless data crunch” and the vital role the responsible deployment of wireless infrastructure plays in working to keep us the demands being placed on existing wireless networks.
