SOLiD Chooses Graybar to Open New Distribution Channel for In-Building Wireless Solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – March 20, 2014 – SOLiD, a wireless infrastructure company, announced a new relationship today with Graybar. SOLiD’s Distributed Antenna System (DAS) products will now be available to Graybar resellers that deploy in-building wireless solutions to enable cellular and public-safety communications.

“We are pleased to sell through Graybar to make SOLiD DAS solutions available to new channels and to provide additional buying options for our customers,” said Seth Buechley, president, SOLiD. “We have built our business upon innovation and customer service and we are excited to work with another business that shares this commitment.”
The new arrangement enables SOLiD and Graybar to coordinate DAS projects from planning and purchasing to delivery, deployment and maintenance. Customers can take advantage of Graybar’s competitive leasing terms for SOLiD gear and a lease-to-buy program for key field-testing equipment from other leading manufacturers.
“As a leading distributor, Graybar provides strategic solutions and services for DAS projects that work to the advantage of our mutual customers,” said Karl Griffith, Director, Emerging Technology at Graybar.
SOLiD has been deployed at some of the best-known venues in the world. The company’s neutral-host DAS supports both cellular and public-safety communications using just a single strand of fiber, and delivers guaranteed radio frequency power control for each wireless operator. Additionally, each system is pre-configured and labeled to simplify and expedite deployment in the field.
