South Florida to Become Showcase for AI, Robotic, and Wireless Innovation

ARLINGTON, Va., April 29, 2026 — South Florida’s bid to become more than a tourism and logistics hub will be on full display next week, when thousands of global tech and infrastructure leaders descend on Fort Lauderdale for the Connect (X) digital infrastructure event to explore the technologies powering artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and next‑generation wireless networks, announced the Wireless Infrastructure Association.

Connect (X) runs May 4–6 at the Broward County Convention Center. Beyond the headline technologies, the conference places several South Florida–based wireless and infrastructure firms alongside global players, giving local companies a rare opportunity to shape industry conversations happening on a national stage.

• Executives from tower operators, network owners, and connectivity solution providers headquartered or operating in the region, such as Vertical Bridge, are expected to meet with investors, policymakers, and wireless vendors, spotlighting South Florida not just as a host location but as an active contributor to the digital infrastructure powering AI, robotics, and smart development worldwide. Chief Executive Officers from the companies will join a panel discussion View from the Tower on Wednesday, May 6 from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
