Tell the FCC You Support Compound Expansion by July 22nd

The FCC has released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) that would make it easier to expand a compound up to 30 feet when colocating on an existing tower. This will help to promote 5G by allowing more space for colocation, edge data centers, and backup generators.

We encourage all members to file Comments supporting the NPRM. To get the best outcome for your business, you can express support for this measure by filing comments with the FCC by July 22nd. If you have any questions about the NPRM or about how you can file, please contact John Howes, WIA’s Government Affairs Counsel, at john.howes@wia.org.
