University of Miami Lakeside Village Enables First Responder Communications that Saves Lives and Ensures Students are Safe

In early 2020, the University of Miami began construction on a new multi-building 540,000 sq. ft. student village on its main campus in Coral Gables, FL. The centerpiece structure is a 7-story main structure, with retail, event, and office spaces on the ground and mezzanine levels, and five residential floors providing housing for more than 1,100 students. With a development of this scale and complexity, the environment demands reliable first responder communications to ensure safety and piece of mind for every student who calls the village home.
