WIA Statement on House Energy & Commerce Budget Reconciliation Package

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) today released a statement on the inclusion of a spectrum pipeline and FCC auction authority in the House Energy & Commerce Budget Reconciliation Text. The statement can be attributed to WIA President and CEO Patrick Halley:

“WIA commends Chairman Guthrie, Committee members, and the Administration for working together to map out a plan for FCC spectrum auction reauthorization with a 600 MHz pipeline of spectrum for licensed use in the House Energy and Commerce budget reconciliation text. Strong leadership is what is needed to get this done. A predictable spectrum pipeline is necessary to fuel tomorrow’s wireless needs and continue American leadership and economic growth.”
