Michael Barrett

Michael serves as the Senior Associate, Sales and Business Development at WIA. He’s a member of the Meetings and Events team, responsible for Connect (X) – the Connectivity Expo –  the largest 5G infrastructure show in North America. Michael focuses on business development for the event, while maintaining valued partnerships with longtime exhibitors.

Michael studied at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. Following college, he interned at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and worked in the music industry in Los Angeles.

When not working, Michael spends his time with family and friends and makes music when he can. He tries to fit in at least a good hour of guitar practice every day to stay loose and ready whenever a spontaneous jam session is about to take place and he gets the call.
