Shay Harris serves as Staff Coordinator & Executive Assistant to WIA President and CEO Patrick Halley. She proudly wears the “Jill of All Trades” hat, as she is responsible for a multitude of office responsibilities.

Prior to joining WIA, Shay held the title of Human Resources and Office Coordinator for an IT/ Tech organization. It was here she learned the importance collaborating across departments, communicating effectively, and running the local office seamlessly.

Shay graduated from the University of Lynchburg with a BA in Communication & Media Studies. She was a proud member and served as the secretary of the Zeta Nu Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority and Vice President of the Debate team.

When not working, you can find her spending time with her chihuahua, Aero (named after the band Aerosmith) or perusing around Target. She enjoys running her book club, cooking, and spending time with her family.
