SBA Communications is a leading independent owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure. During my twelve-year career in the wireless infrastructure industry at SBA Communications, I have had the incredible opportunity to lead in the Finance and Accounting organization, which allows me the opportunity to experience the wireless industry from the perspective of various wireless industry experts. I am most proud of my team’s ability to implement innovative technology, redefine processes and strengthen compliance programs to integrate new wireless infrastructure assets into our existing portfolio. We have streamlined our Shared Services operations using Robotics Process Automation, deployed technology to comply with lease accounting standards and implemented technology to oversee risks and perform internal audits. In addition, we can connect directly with our customers and our operations team to gain a full understanding of what is important in the wireless industry. It is amazing to be a part of an industry that allows us to connect people through communication. During this recognition of women in the wireless industry, I would say that we are brand ambassadors, we are leaders, we are unique, and our various cultural experiences provide diverse perspectives that create value for our stakeholders. There is no requirement that we communicate alike, but true connection happens when we communicate together.
