Louis Jacob, iBwave Louis is SVP and CTO at iBwave where he is responsible for all aspect of technology and works closely with the product organization to guide the evolution of the iBwave solutions. Prior to this role, Louis held several senior executive leadership roles at Manulife including Vice President of Core Engineering and Transformation where he was responsible for all shared technologies including Cloud, CRM, Identity, Mobile, DevOps and Agile working closely with the COO and CMO to drive large scale digital transformation across the organization. Before that Louis was Vice President of Institutional Technologies where he was responsible for all technologies for the group benefits and group retirements businesses. Louis was also the senior technology officer for Quebec and a member of the Quebec Leadership team. Louis also served on the board of director for the DIACC (Digital Identification and Authentication Council of Canada), a non-profit coalition of private and public sector leaders working to advance Canada’s digital economy agenda which depends on digital identity that is ubiquitous, trustworthy, convenient, and private. Louis began his career at Zero-Knowledge Systems (later rebranded as Radialpoint) where he held several progressively senior roles in engineering, architecture, account management and sales and focused on building solutions for privacy on the internet, SaaS internet security and premium technical support primarily focused on the career market. Louis holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke.
